Blended malt from Wemyss Malts – 40%
My Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Fruit cocktail (mainly apples, raisins and grapes) with a honey dressing, hints of nuts and faint traces of bee’s wax.
Palate: A mild mix of fruit, honey and toffee. There seems to be just a hint of peat present as well as a touch of oak.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: Quite a good blended malt with a good balance of flavours. The finish is over a bit too soon for the nice taste, though.
Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
