My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark straw
Nose: Quite spirity in the begining, opens up after a while. Trademark Springbank sea breeze with orange zest and some vanilla fudge.
Palate: Orange zest, limes, vanilla, hints of ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and slightly smoky.
Overall: The age does not show at all here. In one way it is a rather typical – or should I say generic? – Springbank, but I can’t help the feeling there is something missing here.
