My Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Vanilla, breakfast cereals, lemon zest, almonds, hints of pears and rubber.
Palate: Vanilla, thin cut lemon marmalade, pears, toasted bread, pears, hints of ginger and pepper.
Fish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The flavour profile is not too different from a maize based Scotch grain whisky. There is a youthful sharpness that is a bit too dominant for my taste.
