My Tasting Notes
Colour: Very dark amber
Nose: Apples, pick’n’mix sweet shop (including the chewing gum), a polished old oak table.
Palate: Mixed fruit cocktail, honey, tea, hints of cinnamon and pepper, quite dry overall.
Finish: Long, dry and fruity.
Overall: The age of this malt malt is rather obvious due to its driness, but it can’t really be called woody. In fact it is a very fine whisky with quite a lot of flavours to explore.
