My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Very complex. Orange zest, apples, prunes, cigar box, cinnamon and nutmeg. Just a very faint whiff of smoke.
Palate: Orange marmalade, apple chutney, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, hints of nutmeg and pepper .
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A delicious blended malt full of rich flavours. It is a bit on the sweet side, but fruit and gentle spice give it a good balance.
