My Tasting Notes
Colour: Medium amber
Nose: Needs a few minutes and some water to fully develop. Honey, nuts, mixed fruit cocktail, old wood, hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Palate: Fruit cake, honey, fudge, faint herbal notes with just a little mint, nutmeg, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: If you give it a little time and water, you are rewarded with a very flavoursome and complex dram. You always feel the age, but it is still very livley too.
