Tullibardine Aged Oak

by Oliver Klimek on July 13, 2011

My Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Honey, tinned fruits, polished wood, vanilla, nutmeg and pepper.
Palate: The honey and the tinned fruits are there again, then a slight nuttiness and a dry wood notes.
Finish: Medium long, dry, slightly fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: I quite like the nose of this malt, but the palate feels very watery. This one should have at least 46%, then it could be quite nice indeed.
