Tullibardine Sherry Wood 1998/2008

by Oliver Klimek on July 11, 2011

My Tasting Notes

Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Forest berries, raisins, honey, hints of leather and polished wood.
Palate: Forest berries, honey, nutmeg, hints of wood and some hard to pin down savoury notes.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: This sherry finish has an unusal savoury quality to it which is not at all unpleasant. The complexity created by this is quite stunning.

Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
