Sherry cask – 46%
My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Starts very weak but pungent, a little stronger with time. Raisins, marzipan, hints of wood polish.
Palate: Vaguely fruity, slightly spicy. Too indifferent to be more specific, I’m afraid.
Finish: Medium long, slightly fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: It is hard to make out specific flavours in this whisky, but the sherry influence is noticeable. Not altogether unpleasant, but very indifferent indeed.
