My Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Strong, even stronger with a little water. Beachside camp fire, liquorice, cloves, a hint of honey and mixed fruit, slightly medicinal.
Palate: Strong peat, grapes, dried banana, hints of liquorice, ginger and cloves.
Finish: Long, smokey and slightly fruity.
Overall: The sherry cask adds a slight fruitiness to this Laphroaig that is in perfect balance with the trademark medicinal peat. Very delicious!
