An excellent Caol Ila whose sweetness is nicely complimented by a slightly dry spiciness. Some fruity notes are there but they stay in the background – Score: 90/100

Hanyu “Two of Diamonds” 1991/2008

Despite its age this malt has quite some punch. A gentle carress on the nose is followed by a karate kick right into your mouth. – Score: 82/100

Grant’s 12 yo

Compared to the Grant’s 18 yo, the younger version is suprisingly smooth. It is rather gentle on the palate but not unpleasantly so. The blend is not available in all markets, though.
