My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark chestnut
Nose: Dates, prunes, toasted almonds, rich fruit cake, hints of cinnamon and polished wood.
Palate: Baba au rhum, marzipan, christmas cake, cinnamon, strong tea, nutmeg and a hint pf pepper.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: It’s hard to believe that this is only a refill cask. This is a very richly sherried dram, but the finish is a bit on the short side.
