My Tasting Notes

Colour: Dark Mahogany
Nose: Toffee, prunes in armagnac, orange marmalade, cigar box, nutmeg.
Palate: Black currant, cherries, dried figs, dark chocolate, dry wood aromas, nutmeg, hints of pepper.
Finish: Very long, dry, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: This superb malt shows quite a bit of wood, but the strong flavours and the complexity are powerful enough to keep it in balance.

Score: 92/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
