Bottled 2011 – 53.9%
My Tasting Notes
Colour: Straw
Nose: Marzipan, polished wood, banana, a bit stingy even with water.
Palate: Banana, peach, nuts, vanilla, hints of ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The flavours of this malt are nicely balanced and pleasant, but it retains a good alcohol bite even with quite a bit of water. This creates an interesting combination of smoothness and edge.
