My Tasting Notes
Colour: Medium amber
Nose: Butterscotch, baba au rhum, mixed fruit cocktail, a whiff of smoke.
Palate: Very mild peat, caramel, more fruit cocktail, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, sweet and slightly smoky.
Overall: Compared to the Grant’s 18 yo, the younger version is suprisingly smooth. It is rather gentle on the palate but not unpleasantly so. The blend is not available in all markets, though.
Score: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
