My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: Smoked ham, lemon zest, ginger, sea spreay.
Palate: Peat, liquorice, vanilla, lemon, cloves, hints of salt and pepper.
Finish: Long and smoky.
Overall: This fine peated dram has got the typical Laphroaig tang, but it is not quite as flavour-laden as the standard distillery bottlings, probably because it does not seem to have been matured in a first fill cask.
