My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Vanilla, caramel, honey, cigar box, nutmeg, slight floral hints.
Palate: Caramel, grapes, orange zest, honey, hints of mediterranean herbs and pepper, sightly meaty.
Finish: Long and slightly spicy.
Overall: This is a quite unusual malt with an interesting mixture of flavours. The first impression is rather strange, but it is thoroughly enjoyable if you you are a bit adventurous and don’t mind a little variation in your whisky menu.
