Glencadam 15 yo

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Gold
Nose: Raisins, toffee, vanilla, hints of orange zest
Palate: Vanilla, orange zest, coconut, hints of pepper and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long and slightly spicy.
Overall: The subtle aromas of this new version of the Glencadam 15 don’t give the palate too much of a challenge, but overall this malt is rather pleasant.

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Caramel, honey, raisins, apples, hints of cinnamon.
Palate: Green apples, prunes, raisins, maple syrup, nuts, ginger and hints of pepper.
Finish: Long and fruity.
Overall: Strong apple notes as well as the sweet and creamy overall character make this malt a typical Glenlivet. It is a very high quality whisky with a great richness of flavours.
