My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Somewhat unimpressive. Raisins, toffee. citrus fruit, orange zest.
Palate: Candied oranges, honey, veal stock with mediterranean herbs and a little pepper, needs time to develop.
Finish: Long, beefy and minimally smoky.
Overall: The nose is almost disappointing, but the excellent palate delivers a strong reconciliation. A very rich and beefy Mortlach that becomes very cloudy diluted to around 40%
