Whyte & Mackay Special

by Oliver Klimek on April 26, 2011

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Amber
Nose: Rather weak, citrus fruit, vanilla, just a trace of smoke.
Palate: Apples, raisins, nuts, vanilla, hints of mild spices
Finish: Rather short and slightly fruity.
Overall: The Special is a decent enough entry level blend. It’s alright for sipping alongside a pint, but its taste profile is fairly simple.

Rating: 66/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
