My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright copper
Nose: Very intense. Caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest, hints of polished wood and cigar box.
Palate: Burnt sugar, vanilla, orange, banana, cinnamon, nutmeg and hints of strong tea.
Finish: Very long and dry.
Overall: A massive bourbon nose is supported by a strong and dry palate. This whiskey proudly shows its age. It is quite dry and mildy spicy but not overly woody.
