My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Raisins, pineapple, citrus fruit, vanilla, a breath of fresh sea air and hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Mild peat, orange zest, raisins, honey, cardamom and hints of salt and pepper.
Finish: Long, spicy and slighly fruity.
Overall: I was told it was sulphured, but I found a very pleasant and typical Springbank. The combination of spice and citrus fruit with gentle smoke in a maritime setting is much to my liking.
