My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Sweet raisins, honey glazed bacon, oranges, vanilla, hints of pepper and seaweed.
Palate: Mild peat, candied oranges, raisins, apricots, hints of pepper and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: The sherry has mellowed out the peatiness of the Longrow a bit. The result is a stunning and well-balanced dram that perfectly combines fruitiness with smoke.
