My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Very intense and almost a little meaty, raisins, butterscotch, cinnmon and nutmeg.
Palate: Orange marmalade, dried apricots, raisins, treacle, pepper, hints of cinnmon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, sweet, spicy and fruity.
Overall: Especially the nose is very madeira-like, the palate is both sweet and rather spicy. A very dominant finish that may be a bit too hefty for some, but I quite like it.
Rating: 82/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
