Distilled in in the Lomond stills of Glenburgie – 47.8%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Candied fruit, vanilla, nutmeg, a slight scent of spring flowers.
Palate: Pineapple gummi bears (the white ones), toffee, honey, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg .
Finish: Very long, sweet and fruity.
Overall: A great full-bodied malt with a floral hint that is just light enough not to be disturbing. The Lomond malt is a little unusual but very very tasty .
Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
