My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark straw
Nose: Liquorice, vanilla, hints of pineapple and cardamom, almost no fruitiness here.
Palate: Liquorice, green tea, walnuts, vanilla, a coctail of gentle oriental spices. A few drops of water make it drier.
Finish: Rather long, dry and and spicy.
Overall: An unusal bourbon cask bottling of Aberlour. It is very spicy in an aromatic sense and still remarkably smooth and gentle. The liquorice note is rather prominent.
