My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: A rather shy beginning with nuts, vanilla, hints of flowers and rubber. It needs several minutes and a little water to open up, displaying a nice maritime freshness.
Palate: Very mild peat at first, getting stronger with water. Vanilla, breakfast cereals, lemon zest, ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long , dry and slightly smoky.
Overall: Quite a nice dram that needs a little attention. It has a rather pleasant taste but it appears more like a toned down Islay malt than a proper Highland Park.
