Refill butt – 49.3%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Rather weak, slightly farmy, grapes and some vanilla, getting a little stronger and spicier with time.
Palate: Vanilla, breakfast cereals, lemon zest, ginger, hints of cloves and pepper.
Finish: Medium long and slightly spicy.
Overall: This is a rather fragile malt that needs time to develop. But even then it is not eager to show off a wealth of flavours, it wants you to hunt them down. Not a value dram at all.
