My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark straw
Nose: Quite strong, a puff of smoke hovering above a buttered toast with heather honey.
Palate: Mild peat, honey, vanilla, lemon zest, a pinch of herbs, hints of salt, tea and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, dry and smoky.
Overall: This Highland Park is unusually smoky but it clearly shows its provenance. It is very complex and a pleasure to enjoy. Remarkably smooth without water.
