My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Beachside barbeque, slightly medicinal, orange zest, hints of various tropical fruits.
Palate: “Orange peat”, grapes, honey, hints of ginger and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: A very nice dialogue of the dry Caol Ila peat and the sweet moscatel sherry where none is dominating the other.
