Glen Ord 1998/2010 James MacArthur

by Oliver Klimek on February 1, 2011

Bourbon cask #26 – 45%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Very pale
Nose: Pineapple, banana, lemon, coconut, hints of ginger.
Palate: Honey, banana, vanilla, lemon zest, slightly waxy.
Finish: Rather long and fruity.
Overall: Glen Ord bottlings are not easy to find, and this one is definitely reccomendable. It is full-bodied, creamy and fruity and creates the impression of being noticeably older than just 12 years.

Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
