My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Medium amber
Nose: Rum, toffee, raisins, milk chocolate, cinnamon, ginger.
Palate: Raisins, ginger, walnuts, hints of pepper and chili.
Finish: Long, dry and spicy.
Overall: This sherried Glenlivet needs some water to calm it down. Quite richly flavoured overall, but the nose is a bit pungent and the palate lacks an aromatic counterpart to the spices. Good, but not great.
