Zinfandel Finish – 46%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark reddish amber
Nose: Bacon, cherries, red and black currant.
Palate: Slightly bitter peat, mixed red fruit, hints of nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly bitter.
Overall: Zinfandel running amok. The heavy finish even manages to overpower the peatiness of a young Caol Ila. If you like smoky Cassis, you must buy this bottle. I don’t.

Rating: 71/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
