My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Gold
Nose: Rather weak, caramel and vanilla manage to be noticed, a hint of orange joins them later.
Palate: Honey, caramel, orange zest, cinammon and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long and sweet.
Overall: Don’t be put off by the weak nose, on the palate this South African blend is amazingly complex and very enjoyable. It easily beats most young Scotch blends.
Rating: 80/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
