Bruichladdich 1992 Sherry Edition Pedro Ximenez

by Oliver Klimek on September 26, 2010

17 yo – 46%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Chestnut
Nose: Quite shy, raisins, cherries, mild oak notes.
Palate: Raisins and cherries, honey, hints of orange zest and chocolate
Finish: Short and mildly fruity.
Overall: The colour suggests a sherry monster, but already the nose is lacking depth. You can well taste the PX sherry but the whisky seems to be missing. A failed attempt to save an inferior cask with a strong finish.

Rating: 73/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
