Château Petrus finsh – 46%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Reddish amber
Nose: Lighting charcoals for the BBQ while sipping a glass of red and snacking on a ham sandwich.
Palate: Rather strong peat, red currant, hints of orange and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: A finish well done and not too overpowering. The fruity notes of the famous Pomerol mix quite well with the suprisingly strong peatiness of the Bowmore malt.
Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
