English peated single malt – 3 yo – 46%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Smoked bacon, lemon and a gentle sea breeze.
Palate: Peat and fruit, mixed citrus, apricot, apple, pepper
Finish: Long, smoky and fruity.
Overall: This 3 year old malt has a great nose that is not unlilke one the gentler Islay drams. The palate is nice as well but lacks some of the complexity I found in the Chapter 4. And it’s also a tad edgier.
