Mission Gold Series – Oloroso Cask – 53.1%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Pipe tobacco, cigar box, prunes, a hint of coffee
Palate: Dried fruit, orange marmalade, caramel, just a hint of nutmeg and mint.
Finish: Very long and fruity.
Overall: It it were not for the mint hint, this fine sherried dram could be mistaken for a Macallan or Glenfarclas. Surprisingly fresh and un-woody for its age.

Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
