Benriach 1990/2007 A.D. Rattray

Sherry cask 1779 – 61.6%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Honey, grapes, raisins, marzipan, vanilla, old oak
Palate: Honey and grapes again, hints of fresh herbs, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The sherry is not very obvious, so it could have been a fino cask. A very pleasant dram, rather light and complex at the same time.

Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
