Hogshead 18988 – 54.7%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Gold
Nose: Honey, grapes, polished wood
Palate: Grapes, apples, honey and mild spices with a faint floral touch.
Finish: Long and fruity.
Overall: Even with water the nose is somewhat pungent but not unpleasant. Unlike the SMWS Port Dundas, the floral elements are not overwhelming the other flavour components. A well-balanced and nicely sippable single grain for a fair price.

Rating: 84/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
