Sold in multiples of 10 cl from little casks in Germany – 40%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: Burnt down camp fire on the beach.
Palate: Slightly peaty, caramel, lemon, dry wood and a pinch of salt.
Finish: Long, dry and smoky.
Overall: At a higher botttling strength this unusual bourbon cask Bowmore could really excel. At 40% it can only be described as decent. What a pity.
Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
