The second edition made with re-charred cask lids – 46%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark Amber
Nose: Orange peel, nutmeg, cloves, a hint of raisins.
Palate: Orange peel, toffee, nutmeg, toasted nuts, slightly bitter.
Finish: Medium long and spicy, ends with a whiff of smoke.
Overall: This blended malt has a very intriguing nose, but even at 46% the palate is slightly disappointing and the finish is a bit short. But the promised spices are surely present.
