My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Oranges, cloves, grapefruit.
Palate: Oranges, raisins, dried figs, nutmeg.
Finish: Very long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: A big fruity malt with a very creamy mouthfeel and an aromatic spiciness. Very good, but it’s no bargain.
Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Side note: I was told by the official importer for Germany (Andrea Camineci) that this batch has a stronger sherry influence than Batch #1. Batches are not marked as such but can be distinguished by the bottle numbers. With numbers of 1000 and above, you are guaranteed to have Batch #2

I got batch no 1 apparently, as the bottle number is 0203
I fell for this bottling when I tried it at the distillery this february. It seemed very ex-bourbon to me so hopefully I have the same batch as what I tasted. I’ve heard that batch 2 should be considerable older, but not sure. Maybe someone confused it with the new release, which IS a 26yo, and in exactly the same kind of bottle

Yes, that’s one thing I forgot to mention. It was confirmed by Mr. Camineci that the 21 should not to be taken too seriously
