Noa Noa Rum from Tahiti

by Oliver Klimek on June 12, 2010

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw with a faint reddish tint
Nose: Almonds, vanilla, cinnamon.
Palate: Marzipan, caramel, vanilla, a hint of orange and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, dry and slightly spicy.
Overall: Like Rhum Agricole, this Tahitian rum is not made from molasses but from sugar cane juice. This results in a rather un-typical taste. The aromas are not in-your-face but rather subtle.

Rating: 82/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
