My Tasting Notes:
Color: Gold
Nose: Smoked ham, sea shore, mild citrus fruit, a touch of honey.
Palate: Peat, honey, lime, grapefruit, cinnamon and just a little chili catch.
Finish: Long, smoky and sweet
Overall: The nose is terrific, but on the palate the sweetness is a little too much for my taste. But that’s just complaining on a very high level. It still is a damn fine malt.
Score: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
