My Tasting Notes:
Color: Pale Gold
Nose: Quite fresh but a bit shy, apples, freshly cut grass, vanilla, a hint of honey.
Palate: Apples, vanilla, citrus fruit, a herbal touch with a bit of ginger.
Finish: Medium long, slightly fruity
Overall: This is one of those rather generic “refill bourbon” malts that I can’t really become friends with. Rather gentle and unobstrusive, some people call this type a summer whisky which I think is a bit of a euphemism. There are some splendid malts of this type around, mind you. But this is not one of them.
