Bourbon Cask – From Loch Lomond Distillery – 46%

My Tasting Notes:

Color: Dark amber
Nose: Rubbery raisins, citrus fruit.
Palate: Caramelized malt, berries, a bit musty and meaty, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Medium long, spicy and fruity.
Overall: Loch Lomond distillery contines to amaze with very unusual malts. This is very dark for a bourbon cask and could even be mistaken for a sherried whisky. Very complex but certainly not everybody’s darling.

Score: 75/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
