My Tasting Notes:
Nose: A strong note of lovage, quite herbal in general, honey, caramel
Palate: Herbal at first (again mainly lovage), becomes fruitier with water (oranges, cherries)
Finish: Very long, fruity, dry and spicy
Overall: A very “beefy” and extremely complex malt, all elements are very well balanced. The first herbal whisky I really loved.
Score: 93/100 – No price/value information as this is a collector’s bottle
