My Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh grapes and raisins, slightly herbal, a bit like cake, adding water brings out hints of orange.
Palate: A very herbal attack accompanied by a certain “dusty” undertone. Becomes quite fruity with a little water
Finish: Long and herbal.
Overall: I am not a big fan of herbal whiskies, but this one almost managed to convert me. The nose is spectacular but the palate doesn’t quite live up to it. Very light yet very complex. And very expensive because of its scarcity.
