Johnnie Walker Black Label

by Oliver Klimek on January 11, 2010

12 yo – 43%

My Tasting Notes:

Nose: Slightly smoky, vanilla, tobacco, dried fruit
Palate: Sweet and smoky, vanilla, nuts, slightly spicy
Finish: Long with a smoky sweetness
Overall: Quite smoky but not peaty, gentle and well balanced. Not bad at all.

Score: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

jOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL IS GOOD AS IT GETS… I HAVN’T TRIED THAT MANY WHISKIES I WILL ADMIT…BUT IF THERE IS ANY SCOTCH BETTER THAN JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK LABEL THEN I HAVE AN EXTROIDINARY JOURNEY AHEAD OF ME TO FIND THE PERFECT SCOTCH IF THERE IS SUCH A SCOTCH…IN OTHER WORDS FOR THE AVERAGE DRINKER BE IT FOR PRICE OR ENJOYMENT…BRING IT ON.
